Open Water Swim-Optional Lessons
Typically 7:30-8:15 AM
Newport Dunes Waterfron Resort in Newport Beach
Structured workout, free swim, or follow your training plan
Group Open Water Swim lessons by expert coach Ingrid Miller, are available for an extra fee. Wetsuit Required. Lessons alternate between Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Functional Strength Circuit
30 minute group strength workout,9-9:30AM
Right after the swim, before the ride
Simple moves, mostly bodyweight with some exceptions
Fun way to get your strength work done
Short or Long Ride
Starts from Newport Dunes on alternate weekends. Starts in other locations on alternate weekends.
Rollout Right after the Strength Circuit, about 9:30. Long Ride athletes often leave earlier.
Mosty bike trail. We avoid cars.
Short Ride/Run Brick is no longer that 2 hours total. Beginners, athletes riding for fun and fitness typically do this ride with optional coffee after!
Long Ride is for Athletes training for specific races that are following a training plan with specific intensity and duration targets.
We all start together, but spread out as the ride progresses.

Personal Coaching with Ingrid Miller is strongly encouraged for athletes training for 70.3 and Full Ironman Events. Please contact Ingrid directly to apply. Space is limisted. You will need 6-10 months to prepare for your race depending on your experience and skill level..
